I'm making a key holder. I cut out an oval out of a piece of wood using a machine that my dad has in his wood shop.
I don't have much experience cutting wood and it took a while for me to get used to doing so while trying to keep all of my fingers the same length they were before I started cutting.
The board wasn't perfect, but it ended up looking 'oval-enough.'
After I cut it out, I painted it black.
I was happy to get my hands dirty with a little paint. It's been a while since I've painted, and this was a good way to start getting back into it.
